Olympic Restaurant

We visited the Olympic near the Buffalo airport last night at 7:30pm for a late supper. We had delicious meals. I had a hot turkey sandwich and mashed potatoes, my partner had a mushroom burger with fries. Excellent! The restaurant was busy and only had two servers for multiple tables (because they're having problems getting waitstaff to apply for the openings that they have). I have to tell you these two ladies handled a huge group of customers in an organized and efficient manner, with a smile on their faces and kind words and concern for us, despite the fact that they were definitely exhausted from the stress of the volume of tables that they were assigned to. They obviously seemed to have years of experience in their roles as waitresses and it showed. We were amazed at what they were able to do to keep the customers happy with so many customers. We want to commend them for their integrity and concern for their customers.

My friend and I were shopping and decided that French Fries would taste really good right then. So glad we went to the Olympic Restaurant. We were greeted and seated right away. Our server was friendly, attentive during our visit. Most importantly, our fries were hot and mmmmm good. Cooked to perfection.

Been going here 25 years. Its the first time we had a bad meal. My mom actually got sick at the table after eating the fish fry and clam chowder. I feel the grease was dirty. You can see how dark the fish and fries are. Not sure what happened to this place. So sad.
