Oliveto Italian Bistro

Kayla I think it is her name I forgot, but she really made our night awesome. She was the bartender. She has long brown hair and is smiley. There was never a lack of service. We hope to see her again. We came in about a week ago for the half-price appetizer after eight and to watch the basketball game. They have nice outside seating, too. Awesome food!

I was not impressed. Won’t be returning. The Caesar salad I ordered had bruised wilted and slimy pieces in along with a random shred of radish and some chopped tomatoes smashed and glued to the bottom of the bowl. The Caesar dressing had the texture and taste of oil with a soured aftertaste. The crab cake pasta I received had mushrooms (not listed in the description)- light lemon butter pasta had NO flavor- again just greasy and oily. I had to flag down server and ask for lemons so there was something to taste. No salt anywhere. Crab cakes were okay-ish. Server was acceptable I suppose, I’d have preferred not watching her sit across from me playing on her phone and having to flag her down for everything. She was however kind and smiling. I expected better after reading the reviews and viewing the prices. Disappointed and with a stomach ache from the overload of grease.

Very nice, relaxing decor. Good wine choices. Attractive bar area. Reasonable prices on meals. My son-in-law had the 3 meat skillet & was very pleased with it. My lasagna was great.
