Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

First let me say, I love olive garden, always have. Last Monday we went as a family, 9 people, for my birthday. I've always loved the Eggplant Parmesan and looked forward to getting more. I told my sister in law how great it had been. Both she and I ordered the eggplant. What we received was terrible. Three pieces of burned, black eggplant. It was heavily sauced so I didn't notice it on the first bite. I took mine home thinking I could somehow redeem it. Nope I tossed it. My sister in law just left hers. She doesn't send anything back, just leaves it. It was so horrible. A lot of money for nothing. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are either pasta or salad. There is eggplant but wouldn't recommend. They need vegetarian meat options.

I believe our server was lanasia. Forgive the spelling or if it's wrong. Lol. Definitely had "Asia" in it. She was very nice and accommodating. She did forget a few things but I just assumed she had more tables and or a party if I'm not mistaken. Nothing to damage our visit. The soup however could have been hot. It was barely warm and when I got the gnocchi soup it didn't have any gnocchis. Lol. Decor was nice. They've changed it and the ambiance was nice. Not a bad experience.

I wasn't sure if my server was new or not but it took 30 min to get simple bread sticks and drinks. When we did we only got 4 bread sticks for a family of 6. I went and got a manager to bring to his attention. He did get me new sauce and bread but that was the last we got. I got 1 bowl of soup and a bread stick plate of salad. I didn't complain anymore, I paid my bill in fu and left. I wasn't offered any Togo boxes or the little sweet chocolate at the end. Needless to say our experience was the worse as I was far from full and paid a bill over $89 and still had to go else where to eat.
