Olga's Kitchen

We have been customers of Olga's since the 1970s (way before this location was created), having dined at locations all across Metro Detroit and Ann Arbor. As a teen, I vaguely remember meeting Olga at the Birmingham location. The number of menu items has gone up, but the flavor and quality of the food has gone downhill. It's just so commercialized now. I finally said enough is enough after my last experience with them - everything was so over salted, they forgot to include something in my order and they made it difficult to get a refund for the missing item. We're done with them.

Hard to decide what to order because the menu is so interesting-must go back to try everything. I got soup and Olga bread and sweet treat. Generous serving of bread and the doggie bag made great sandwiches at home. Peasant soup was very good. And I have a picture of the sweet treat- it came with two spoons and you might want to share all this divine richness.

A sign posted on the door said there might be a 20 minute wait due to being short staffed. Fortunately it only took 5. The food was spot on. Service went smoothly thanks to Becky. I was quite happy after getting my Olga's fix..See ya next time I'm in town
