Ole Ole Steak House

Pretty sure the google reviews are most DEFINITELY bought! Be careful! Our food was not good and our waitress kept saying a lot of the items were out but would check with the chef. She came back and could actually have our food prepared as the chef found the items we wanted. How weird… the drinks were not good and we were so excited to try this place as my boyfriend is a steak freak. Would not recommend wasting money here. We loved the outdoor ambiance that’s about it. I wanted to get up and walk away.

Our wedding anniversary celebration dinner was treated by our son. He surprised us by paying with his first paycheck from his job which he started two days after he graduated from college. Is that why it was so good here? Haha. Nah, the meal was amazing. Steak, lamb, side dishes, seasonings, sauces, and service are all beyond perfect. Our son asked for something special since it was his parents' wedding anniversary while we were in the washroom and when we came back to a table the waitress had already brought us champagne and a small cake as a service for a special occasion. What a sense of that server and the management who make that working environment. Awesome! Our son gave way above 20% which she deserved. Why only 4 stars for the atmosphere?  The front doors were wide open and it was very hot in Miami. It was a little unpleasant to be that hot while we were sitting indoors to eat and being bitten by bugs.

We were seated next to an outdoor heater, which I requested and was lovely. Paolina was our server and she was attentive. We started with a single glass of the Caribbean Blue sangria; it was so good that we went to order a pitcher and the gentleman of the table next to us, ordered it for us! We chatted the evening with our two new friends, Dan and Casey. Shortly, the cheese and chorizo dip arrived, which truthfully tastes like pizza once on the bread - nothing special in our eyes; try something different. We then got the 2 lb Classic order with vegetables and guacamole, which we enjoyed. The guacamole was very tasty! We ended with tiramisu and a cappuccino, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. Little did we know, that Dan was sneaky and paid for our entire bill! What a wonderful experience last night! Staff at this restaurant was very nice. Nice place for an evening meal!
