Old Munich Tavern in Wheeling, Illinois is a restaurant,beer garden, and casino. It is an incredibly unique establishment to visit and has an interesting history. The restaurant was originally a firehouse since the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. The firehouse was abandoned in 1961 and the current owners purchased it and opened the restaurant and beer garden in 1987, adding the casino in 1998.

Best wings in town. You got to try them!
Loved the music selection! Drink were made fast and everyone was having a good time! I won $80 of the slots using 10 bucks that night!
Great 'dive bar' with good bar food, games and a juke box. Good beer on tap and laid back atmosphere.
