Old Carolina Barbecue Company - Rocky River

I was really hoping it was gonna be good but I was sadly very disappointed. The brisket was grey, and fat was rubbery…obviously not cooked long enough. The chicken wings were just okay, mashed potatoes were trash, Mac was alright, honestly the highlight of the meal was the corn muffin. Definitely never going back. Service was fast but employee wasn’t very kind. 2/10 (only gave it a 2 because of the corn muffin)

Best BBQ restaurant in Cleveland!! I've been to a bunch but nvr here. Ordered the 2 meat combo dinner. My meats were pulled pork and sliced brisket, using sauces screaming beaver (ikr?) N No.5!! Fantastic meats with the sauces and my sides were green/baked beans. Very, very yummy for one's tummy! This is a must try, like me, you won't be disappointed!!

The meat has a decent flavor but no smoke. The beans taste more like chili than baked beans, but that could be because of the kidney beans. The hush puppies are worth a first try but maybe not a second, they have good flavor but can be dry. The banana pudding takes like more traditional banana pudding with whipped cream, vanilla pudding and cookies but worth a try; the texture was great. Overall this place is worth a first try, and maybe even a second, but don't expect the best barbecue you've ever had.
