Reviews for Ol Boys Soul Food Restaurant

To start my fish did not have any seasoning, the mac n cheese was over cooked and tasted like elmers glue, the sweet potatos was disgusing, and the corn bread tasted like corn meal mixed with water. How do you mess up corn bread? This place is better of using Jiffy. I can tell they didn't use vanilla extract and brown sugar when making the sweet potatos. Food was straight garbage. Get it together or go out of business. I didn't taste the soul nor the food in my meal. I wrapped the corn bread up after one bite and through it away.
The food was delicious however too salty. My chicken wings were delicious and cooked well. The string beans and the mac and cheese were too salty. My husband's boneless chicken breast was salty as well. I would still order food if they minimize the sodium intake.
They were very polite I have the beef short ribs mac and cheese and cabbage they did run out of the potato salad but that's okay that was my first time there and I will be going back again
