Okami Sushi Chicago

We were in the area, and saw this place accidentally! We tried 2 of their not spicy ramens and they were very good! Lots of flavour, lots of things inside!

We really enjoyed our meal at Okami. They have a good selection of dishes including ramen and udon in addition to their selection of sushi and appetizers. I loved the tuna cracker--something I've never experienced before. It's a toasted rice cup (?) filled with seasoned/spicy tuna topped with unagi sauce. Sooooo good! We also tried their Okami ramen which was just at the heat level that you don't feel like you're in any danger of needing to put out a fire. Service was attentive and pleasant. We arrived for an early dinner on a Friday evening and the place was empty but by the time we left there were people waiting to be seated. There were people of all sorts including families with young children. There's street parking but there's also a parking lot by the strip mall next door.
