I am really into Japanese cuisine and enjoy exploring all the different sushi restaurants in the Vancouver metro area; this happens to be one of my favorites. The employees here are all very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Overall, the interior atmosphere is relaxed and casual, but it is also clean. I'm surprised by how cheap the prices are here for certain food items such as the udon, which tasted excellent. I also thought that the vegetable tempura appetizer not only looked visually nice but had a good batter and accompanying sauce. Whenever I'm in the area and craving Japanese, I'll be sure to stop by, because it's the best near the mall by far.
The best (and most authentic) Japanese food we've found locally. Everything is fresh and expertly prepared. Excellent sushi selection and great options for a variety of bento meals and bowls.
