This review is the perfect example of how the right staff can change everything. I reviewed the Decatur location and called it my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas and that is still true. I made my reservation at this location by accident but figured it was no big deal since it's the same restaurant. The problem with this location is 100% the staff and not the food. The food quality is still good. Our hibachi chef was completely untrained on how to properly cook. Our steaks were cooked while simmering with the shrimp taking on their flavor and the eggs were burnt in the fried rice and had a couple of small shell pieces in them from the chef dropping the whole egg on the grill. The noodles were the last things cooked and steak portion sizes varied so much that my party was giving each other steak to even it out. Our chef seemed very timid and quiet so no one could hear him. Clean comfortable place. Used a coupon for free appetizer. Calamari was very bland. No flavor in batter ???? Las Vegas roll was excellent! Food was fresh....hibachi was ok. Chicken was dry but my hubby loved his shrimp. Wish they had a better spicy sweet sauce tho. I had to mix up yum yum sauce with siracha and teriyaki ????????‍♀️ Will go again and use a coupon.
