EARLY HOURS on a summer Monday morning at this neighborhood iteration of a local south Florida chain are heavy with takeout business and tables occupied by retired men. At one table, five men share breakfast; each wears a sports coat and a collared business shirt. The menu is surprisingly large, and I ate a good egg sandwich and well-brewed coffee. It’s a place to linger, a good thing, even if you have only the dimmest idea who the handsome man featured in the wall displays might be. LOO REVIEW: The eatery’s two single-user, unisex toilets were a bit short of pristine but were well supplied and came with detailed rules displayed as wallpaper in a football motif. Very funny.
