Off The Mile Restaurant

One of the best cuban breakfast restaurants in Miami, this one with a Spanish note. Everything was very good, kudos to the steak with eggs, the toast is a classic. No frills, solid and fairly priced. A must try. Did I mention the unctuous cuban coffee? Con azúcar, por supuesto.

Authentic Cuban food. Delicious. Highly recommended. First restaurant that prepares vaca vaca frita correctly. Thin crispy tostones. Really good.

I was at the courthouse with my girlfriend and I googled for breakfast near me, and this location was the closest. After spending ten minutes looking for the parking meter, I ran across the street to pay. When we asked the the hostess for outside seating, she said that they were only seating inside, even though the outside was set up. Then after sitting down, I was told that breakfast ended four minutes ago. I'm going with three stars because the whole parking situation is out of their hands, and the inside looked inviting, but I was quite disappointed at the seating and timing issues I had. I'll come back another day and update my review after actually eating there.
