Hidden gem! Excellent quality of fish — I especially love the salmon sashimi. I've been to Odori at least a dozen times and they consistently deliver delicious rolls and sashimi. I've brought friends who are picky about their sushi, and they really enjoyed Odori. The folks who run Odori are friendly and thoughtful if you chat with them. Nice casual atmosphere and high-quality food. Favorite sushi place in Palo Alto!
I really enjoyed this restaurant every aspect of it. For being my first time here everything from food to service was acceptional and the price was really good too I plan on going back very soon and updating my post with pictures and names of entrees I enjoyed but it was a quick dinner with a friend so I didn't have much to document but definitely visit this restaurant if you are in the mood for sushi or Japanese cuisine. Vegetarian options: The veggie roll was very tasty and presented on the plate in a very artistic way.
Good food, but service was terrible. It took 15 minutes to get beverages, and we only got them because we flagged down the waitress to ask when we could order drinks. We had to ask for all utensils multiple times, which was all in all frustrating. We were a party of 8 so we went in with patience, but the constant asking was irritating (especially for an 18% mandatory gratuity). Again, food was good, but not good enough to outweigh the service.
