Came to eats brunch here, had a orange crush drink, and chicken and waffles. Best drink I've had since being here, brunch was good as well. I would definitely come back and enjoy an orange crush. Thank u for making my last day here in VA amazing
Virginia Beach, Virginia - “Oceanview EATS” (a sister of “Shadowlawn EATS” is another 1st for “Run-A-Way Bill” … local pARTy Pals “Cindy” & “Wendy” gave me “more smiles than I came in with” ???? … “Cindy” had GREAT “Black Beard the Pirate” stories - Cindy is related which made the stories really cool … the OBX pARTy Zone is “Cindy’s” roots … “Black Beard” was reprieved from hanging (but unfortunately, not his crew) … “Black Beard” eventually purchased “Ocracoke Island” for $9,000 … bartender “Emily” shared a few smiles with me too ???? … pARTy Pal “Erin” joined me for a few “remember when smiles” ???? (“Erin’s” pic is an archive pic from “Shadowland EATS”) … no bike-rack for “Wheelie Nelson” was a surprise for an oceanfront bar … “Run-A-Way Bill” was here! 08.07.22
I'm truly surprised at the 5 star reviews and the pictures that make the food appear so elegant and perfectly plated. Over the course of the weekend we ate here on a few occasions due to convenience and location. The staff was very nice and the service was quick. That's why we give it 2 stars. The first time we ate breakfast and nothing seemed to be freshly cooked and the fruit was canned. Dinner was very bland. The last visit we ate breakfast and we could hardly finish our food. Their rates are expensive and they automatically include 18% gratuity to your bill. However, when you receive your check you will be asked to tip again. Please be careful as it isn't made clear and could possibly end up double tipping.
