Oak Barrel Tavern

We've come here a few times and we like everything we've had so far, except for the last time we went. We got the pretzel sticks appetizer, it was very good. I got two kids meals that were good, for me I ordered a burger and couldn't have been more turned off. I ordered it medium, and it was well done but that was because it was one of those small frozen patties that is impossible to cook any other way. It was thin and terrible, and inedible for me. I ate a couple of bites but left the rest. The server asked if I wanted it to go and I said no and that was the end of it. As a server they should have asked if it was OK since I wasn't taking home almost a whole burger. But she didn't. Thats a missed opportunity because I don't really complain in restaurants but that was just terrible. How can you serve such a terrible burger for $15?

Cozy but classy place with attentive staff and good food. You can get a nice burger or grilled sandwich, but also a healthy grain bowl (vegetarian if you please), so this is a good place to go if you have a group with diverse dining needs and tastes. They have a decent beer and wine list and a competent bar. There are also some menu items that would appeal to kids if you are bringing yours.

We mainly had apps and drinks. Overall the food was pretty good! S/o to Wayne, our server. He was excellent. The strawberry mint mule is a must
