Oak and Embers Tavern Hudson

LOL This restaurant is some place I would never go back to. Our waitress kept forgetting items or she literally would forget that I even ask for something. The "stack of onion rings" that was supposed to have came with a cheeseburger was literally one greasy small onion ring. ???? If you look closely at the menu in the pictures where it says a "stack of onion rings" ???????????????? I asked where is the " stack of onion rings" the waitress came back and told our table that the manager said a stack is one onion ring ???????? The only plus is that it's dog friendly, but other than that. Don't waist your time unless you enjoy bad service and the food wasn't that good. ????????

Went for lunch and this delicious beef rib was not only so tender and amazing but was enormous enough to share with my wife and for both of us to feel full afterwards. The vegetable of the day was the brussel sprouts with red onions which was great too. I had higher hopes for the mac & cheese but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me, it was missing something. Prices have gone up a lot here recently and on top of that there was a “temporary inflation surcharge”, which basically made this one dish cost about $40 after tax. Still enjoyed it though and would definitely recommend it for others. I’ve had the brisket before too which was great.

Really enjoyed eating here. The prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent. Try the bourbon glazed anything! (I had the salmon). There is outdoor seating which is fun now that the weather is better, and the bar is very large. Large selection of beers, plus anything else you could think of, drink-wise (and a few you might not ever think of!). I shouldn't tell any of you about this, I like being able to walk in and get seated right away...I LIED! It was horrible, don't come... Stay away...
