From huge, colorful paintings decorating the restaurant, inside and out, to welcoming people who provide great service, this was a memorable meal. When we sat down, I expected chips and salsa on the table, which came right away. Then came a huge portion of carrots, lightly pickled, and then each of us were served an appetizer, with meat, potato, sauce, topped with a miniature tortilla. All that arrived before we even ordered anything. After we ordered, our food came faster than I expected, and it was hot and tasty, large portions: chicken tostadas, rice and beans, and al pastor (pork) tacos. Then a free small dessert appeared unexpectedly: little portions of warm rice pudding with cinnamon and a few raisins. What a nice surprise! And the bill ended up being less than I expected, even after I double-checked it with the staff to make sure they hadn't left off anything. Now that's good value, and wonderful service.
Been coming here for more than 30 years. The tacos de picadillo is my favorite dinner (just had them today), but the steak fajitas and nachos are also amazing. The refried beans are the best I've ever tasted. You would swear they're made with lard, but they're not. You can't go wrong here. We are always treated treated like family and always leave with a smile on our face. Like many small businesses, Covid really did some damage, but fortunately they were able to weather the storm. Losing this restaurant would be devastating.
What a great lunch we had! Appetizer, grilled onions, flautas, enchilada sabinas plus they started us out with a pre-appetizer and freshly cut fruit for dessert! Special attention to customer service makes us go back there over and over again! Nice job everyone! Delicious food and top notch service! I suggest you give it a try!
