Nueva San Salvador #6

I only went in for pupusas for my sister, I wasn't planning on getting any myself, but I must say by the time I got to her home I was craving them. On my way back from her house I stop by Nueva San Salvador #5 on Flagler and 97th Ave. Not only did I get pupusas but also sopa de res. OMG I think I had a tear in my eye the soup brought me back memories when my grandma used to make it back home in El Salvador. The best I had after my grandma's of course definitely will be going back...almost forgot the pupusas were really good and huge compare to others I had that were more expensive and smaller I will definitely continue coming back to this little piece of my homeland.

The Baleada was kind of small compared to the Honduran baleadas but it did taste very good. Also great service though it was for take out. I will be back.

Came in on a Wed night and the place was empty. Ordered 3 pupusas, a ceviche, a baleada, and 3 tacos. It took almost 40 mins for the food to arrive. The Tacos were cold. The shrimp ceviche tasted like ketchup and had 2 pieces of shrimp in it. The waitress forgot to order the baleadas and didnt tell us until almost an hour had gone by and we asked twice. Over all a really terrible experience. The pupusas were ok.
