Nosu Ramen

Sad to say but this is not authentic Japanese ramen. I had high expectations coming here with all the good reviews. We got a Karaage, a Tonkatsu ramen and a Duck ramen. Karaage was alright and both ramen bowls were mediocre at best. If we have to rate the food, it’s probably 3.5/10. As much as I wanted to like it, I was thoroughly disappointed. Broth definitely lacks flavors, it has too much ginger in it (which is not the case for authentic ramen), broth is on the thinner side, especially the Tonkatsu pork broth could be creamier, ramen toppings were unconventional but not in a good way. The star of the bowl was probably the poached egg. Service was good but that couldn’t save the below-average food. They also have a variety of drinks but we didn’t drink so this review is based on the food only. Overall, I didn’t enjoy the food here and will not be back. Sarah the host was extremely friendly and super helpful. She made me feel very welcome. My server was very nice too. The staffs overall very cheerful. We’ll definitely go back
