North Beach Fish Camp

My husband and I were visiting from Tallahassee. We decided to give this restaurant a try. First, the conch fritters were delicious. I enjoyed conch with every bite. Next, the grouper with the mango sauce was yummy. Finally, my husband’s hunger was satisfied with a medium fried flounder. I can see eating here again!

This was such a fun visit! From drinks, to appetizers, to entrees, all were a good buy! The atmosphere can get a little loud, but overall still a good experience from the bartenders and other friendly staff. The hot mama drink is not actually hot, so if you need it spicy you need to ask for extra spice. The old fashioned will get the job done in two ???? We had the fried calamari, as well as the gator. Both were phenomenal. Gator was nice and tender. I had the roasted cod filet which I thought was amazing! The flavor was really good, I did need to add a little bit of salt but not much.

The service was good from the time we sat down till we left. We tried shrimp and grits which was pretty good very flavorful. The shrimp pasta was not my favorite, it wasn’t as creamy as I thought it would be. The clam appetizer was my favorite out of the whole meal. I would recommend for your next seafood outing!
