Their service leaves something to be desired. We waited for an hour and a half for food and ended up walking out. Our waitress was not very friendly either. We asked to split up the table we were set at and her response was "no you may not, but thanks for asking." We noticed that almost every table was waiting for someone to come around and refresh the drinks. There were two employees that were off duty and their with their families. The one gentleman even got up to take the drink order for the elderly couple that had been seated for almost 30 min before their first contact with ANY employee. It also felt like the only food going out was for the two tables where the employees were seated. Even at that they had to go get their own food and drinks. If you are going there for just drinks and set in the bar area then you may be fine but if you go there with your family to have drinks and dinner you may want to go somewhere else.
I should explore more of the menu but it's a regular go-to venue and lunch option for the 'hood. The Steak BC salad is sizeable, delicious, though maybe just a tad overdressed (acc. to my waistline).
I really want to give 5 stars, the staff are kind but I think that the food was really lacking. I ordered the spinach dip and pita bread for an app-the bread and dip were cold and the dip had hard stringy pieces throughout. Then ordered the ceaser salad with steak-steak was flavorful but the salad had no croutons or anything, just lettuce and steak with dressing. For dessert I tried the cookie and ice cream which is always my go to.. but the cookie was completely frozen and I couldn’t even break it apart to eat it so I just ate the ice cream from in between. I could tell they were understaffed as each time I asked for something it was forgotten and received 40 minutes later after a reminder. I only saw 3 people working the entire time and as a past server I know how stressful it is to be understaffed, I just wish the 3 hours and 80$ I spent felt worth it. I’ll try again in a few months and update, hopefully they can staff up!
