We enjoyed several different sushi dishes for lunch. We didn’t find one we didn’t like. Service was very good and prompt. Definitely recommend and will return!
The starters were great. The agedashi tofu contained an ample amount of bonito flakes. The yakitori was one of the best I had in a while. It was super tender and juicy and the phenomenal sauce was lathered on generously. The chirashi (made to accommodate shellfish allergy) tasted good and the plating was pleasing to the eye. The Sukiyaki portion was huge. The glass noodles, veggies, tofu and beef were soaked in the flavorful broth. Nippon is definitely worth another visit in the future. There is both indoor and outdoor seatings. Parking is somewhat limited with approximately 10-15 spaces on the side of and in the back of the building.
Food is wonderful and everything seems very authentic. Prices are great as well. I think this place probably has the one of the best katsu curries in Houston!
