Nicky's Gyros

Food was pretty good. Had some polish sausage (Chicago style of course!!!) and also tried the Italian beef. Fries were cooked well. Woman taking the orders was friendly, helpful and attentive. Prices were about what one would expect. Pretty wide selection of food on the menu... Certainly worth a try.

I had the gyro special. For the price, I wasn't impressed. Nicky's Gyros on Sibley in Calumet City is MUCH better!! For the same amount you get more meat on the gyro AND a much bigger bag of fries. And the gyro sauce is better. Also when I asked them to cut the gyro in half, the cashier said they couldn't do that...even though they have knives ????

Very very dissatisfied. Ordered 3 gyros sandwiches. All 3 were . The fries and mushrooms were hot, however, the main entrée for 3 people was cold and dried out. We spent almost 40 dollars. We were dining in so we addressed it with 2 members of the staff and they did not care. The female said she would microwave them, that is not acceptable. This was the first and last time I will come here. I have never been so disappointed with my food or service. If there was a way to give a negative rating I would. I left my food because it was not able to be consumed by humans.
