a friend of mine worked here, they told me the owners dislike black people and have made racist comments about black women and sometimes refuse to serve them. Once the owners son refused to serve a homeless women because she was black. all she wanted was something to eat, she had the money for it. it was quite horrific. the owner and the owners son have made creepy comments about my friend. the foods a hit n miss some days but not bad at all.
Great staff, lots of laughs and a place where everybody knows your name. The best sandwich lunch spot in downtown.
Being from NY I always look for food from back home. The soups are fresh and tasty. Asiago and sesame bagels are great as well. I believe I met the owner as well. Very nice gentleman. You can tell he truly cares. We will be back for sure!
