New South Kitchen & Bar

Food was very good we had flounder and burger which was excellent. Waiter was new forgot to offer desert. Driving home wife inquired about desert. I said he brought the check, she says I was looking forward to desert????. I get it help is tough but some training might help boost bills

The staff here is nice, restaurant is quiet and the food is really good. Honestly, one of my coworkers chose this restaurant for a work related dinner and looking at the menu I was not very interested in anything. I was pleasantly surprised that just about everything we had at dinner was very delicious. The baked pimento cheese dip, the grits and the blueberry pie dessert were my favorites! Also, the drinks were good and well worth the money. I will definitely visit this restaurant again!

I will say I have been here before and other menu items have been better, however, my last lunch visit wasn’t great. The staff was friendly but in general the food was just okay. The trio salad platter in particular wasn’t great because the potato salad potatoes were not cooked all of the way.
