New Shanghai Chinese Restaurant

this is our favorite chinese restaurant in the waterford area. we've only ordered takeout but our food has always been fresh and we've never had a problem. i always ask for plain lo mein (nothing but noodles) and they always get it right. the only negatives i could say is we don't get fortune cookies with our orders anymore. the first time we ordered, we were given like 12, but since then it's been zero.

Have been going here for 12 years and have always had great service and food . Every time the same old Chinese lady is there she screws up the order and cuts food from your order.12 years of beef lo mein and always get white rice with the order except when she is there. Wants to argue about the order every time. Won’t be back and will find a new place. This lady is a miserable you know what.

The lunch Special may be $8 compared to some $5-$7 options but everything on the menu is made to A super high degree of flavor and satisfaction that is well worth any price differential. Just eating the fried rice feels like A treat and anything on the menu will be made to the same standard.
