New Delhi Restaurant of India

We went here for dinner but they were only serving takeout as they didn't have enough servers. Owners were really nice and made our order on priority as we were tourists and had to wait in the restaurant to pick up as they were not doing dine in. This was a weekday and most other restaurants were closed already. Food quality was good. We ordered aloo gobhi, paneer makhni and naan.

Service- Family owned restaurant. Son is very polite, welcoming and hard working.. the lady had exactly opposite behavior.. Food review 1.Appetizer ordered- Chilli Paneer… What we got- Ketchup Paneer sautéed with onion and bell peppers Heard that methi gravy is speciality so ordered 2.Methi Paneer- was expecting green curry with fresh Fenugreek leaves… but i was red curry full of dried fenugreek leaves… 3.Ordered Daal Makhani-it was very sweet… 4. Garlic naans had no garlic- cilantro TBH…They need to modify/ enhance the recipes…

Randomly stumbled to this restaurant with my family at a time when they don't expect much customers (lunch on a Tuesday). The owners were very courteous and hospitable and promised us delightful food. They kept their promise and more. We ordered two types of biryani and mughlai chicken with their delhi special naan. Everything was flavorful and super delicious. The naan was very soft and tasty. I particularly liked their biryanis as they had balanced spice flavors used in northern and eastern parts of India. Very much recommended and thanks to the owners for the delightful Indian food.
