Very average food and service provided here. I ordered veg momos, veg thukpa, veg thali. You can find good Momos here. Although thukpa was a huge disappointment. I highly recommend trying their paneer matar and lentil soup(dal) in thali or order on the side. It tasted really good.
Mom and pop restaurant run by local Pittsburgers. Somewhat improvised interior. My first impression was that it seemed to be a favorite with the local Nepalese community, lots of people in for dinner, big clue that it is the real deal and good. The staff was exceedingly accommodating and friendly. I ordered a chicken biryani, which was Nepalese style pakki biryani…milder and very savory, not as hot as some indian varieties. Garnished with cucumber, carrots, onion, and a light cucumber yogurt. Was excellent and I will be back. The restaurant also has a bar in the back. Will eat there again when in the area. Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.
Don’t let the looks fool you…. This place is fire! Grab a drink and order the momos!
