Standard greasy spoon diner with breakfast and lunch options. Whole place is very 1950’s themed with Elvis decor all around. There’s also outdoor seating with a small table out front and some tables on AstroTurf along the side. Food was solid diner food with lots of options. Their pancakes were great!
I googled "best breakfast near Pompano" and Nelson's came up on the top of the list! It did not disapoint!! Friendly and comfy diner feel, with some Elvis decor! I had the New Jersey Breakfast sandwich, fried egg, cheese, and Taylor Pork Roll on a soft Kaiser roll, delicious! I also tried their homemade Chicken Noodle Soup, hearty and yummy! When in the area, definitely give Nelson's a try!
I have been going to Nelsons for a long time and it’s some point the visits became fewer due to issues of service. So when I drove by the other day I figured I’d go ahead and give it another shot. I have to say the turnaround in management and the staff was very noticeable the girls were super friendly and worked very well together if I ask comparison to the last time I was in there I am very happy I stopped by and gave it another try it will be my go to Saturday breakfast spot again! Great job turning it around Nelsons!!!
