Black tonkotsu ramen was great! The broth had a wonderful flavor. Well done in that regard. Gyoza and edamame were great too. I wasn’t aware that the ramen only came with one piece of chashu. Every ramen shop I’ve been to serves at least 2, mostly 3. The ramen was priced reasonable enough that ordering another piece wouldn’t be unreasonable, but it’s nice to know ahead of time. We sat in the back of the restaurant and it was very cold so bundle up if you go in the winter
We came here to enjoy a high ranking ramen house. The ramen is ok but the service is way, way below average. One of our waiters was a moody teen who couldn't get our order right. Then the bill arrived with the surprise we had been charged for food he had forgotten to bring out and a forced gratuity of 20% because we had a table of 6 even though we had been squeezed into a 4 person table. We didn't notice the 6pt font at the bottom of the menu so we were forced to give 20% for service worse than what I experience at McDonalds.
I went to this place because it came up on my search. Last time they're a wait line. Tonight, they're was a line. I'm glad that I checked it out. I had the rich tonkatsu ramen. Rich broth, very rich flavor, great noodles. I also had the naratu chicken wings also delicious. This place has to be the best ramen place in ABQ.
