I am sorry to say I never actually got to taste the food. Nadim's was recommended to me, and since I was without car and their website advertised Delivery was available, I ordered online for food to be delivered. 5 minutes after ordering, I got a call from the delivery service saying they had talked to Nadim's restaurant and the delivery had to be pushed back by 30 minutes. Not a problem. 10 minutes later I got a second call saying Nadim's restaurant called them again saying the delivery had to be pushed back by another 30 minutes (1 hour later total). Okay, a little annoying, but I could deal with it. 10 minutes after that, the delivery service called again saying that Nadim's was delaying again. They recommended I cancel the order because the restaurant consistently delayed and delayed delivery times, only to end up cancelling because the time was too close to when they close. So I cancelled, never getting to try the food, and feeling disgusted with a restaurant that advertises
It's not a cheap place, $30 entrees. Lots of outdoor space in wide alley. Good house pinot noir and local ipa. Falafel right on, salad a bit too much sauce but good complement to rest of meat served with only rice pilaf (w roasted vermicelli pasta). Even the free bread and oil was on point. No really a romantic place though but good for business meals. Knowledgeable servers.
We have been coming here for a few years. I'm not sure why some people give such low ratings. We came in with a party of six on a weekday evening. They were busy but were able to make a table for us quickly. We probably should have made reservations. We were waited on by Amir. He was very friendly and attentive. He gave us some great suggestions from their daily specials. We ordered drinks, apps and dinner. The food was very flavorful. Traditional Mediterranean fare with a few twists. Portion sizes are reasonable but not huge. We all went with Nadim's rice as a side because it's unique and delicious. They accommodated one of our member's dairy allergy without difficulty. With parties of six or more, service is usually included in the bill but they didn't. They left the tip completely up to us. We agreed that the place was great. If you like Mediterranean food and are in the Springfield area, you should definitely try Nadim's.
