My Place Cafe

Excellent service. Friendly staff. The breakfast sandwiches were tasty & large enough to share and the waffel & oatmeal were fantastic! Drinks were delicious whether we ordered a coffee drink or a juice. Staff took the time to ask how our trip was going, where we were from as well as give recommendations for what to see next. Highly recommend this spot!

A day may come when I get enough sleep and don’t need coffee but today is not this day. Saturdays are for brunch adventure. So without further ado let’s do this café review. My Place Café is an eclectic neighborhood café serving organic roast and a small breakfast. It’s cute interior decor is imbued with wall frames and message boards. Moreover, they have cute front outdoor patio. They’re located in a tiny corner plaza between E. Woodbury and Los Robles avenue. I was ebulliently greeted by Latanya, owner, and she explained their menu ardently. Their menu may look overwhelming and nebulous but on the contrary it’s very direct and simple. I end up ordering an oatmeal, iced coffee and turkey, veggie scrambled eggs on butter croissant. After I paid at the counter, they brought my drink and food at the front patio. My iced cold coffee (whole milk and splenda) was refreshing. Turkey croissant sandwich and oatmeal were warm, tasty and flavorful. Service was warm and on point. Staff were amiab

It was my first time eating at this small Cafe and I was very surprised and satisfied with both the food and service. I ordered for pick up but decided to stay and eat. We had the waffle with strawberries and bananas which was very filling and was a good big portion in my opinion. It also had a hint of cinnamon which I loved. We also got the iced Mexican Mocha which was delicious and had cinnamon in it as well. The mango smoothie did not disappoint at all, it had a great flavor as did the breakfast croissant turkey sausage sandwich. I wi definitely be coming back to enjoy the food, service and atmosphere here :) Parking: Located in a small plaza with outdoor free parking.
