Since I’ve moved to St Louis, I’ve been dying for some good Caribbean food. The jerk chicken fell off the bone, the collards had fantastic flavor, and who is mad at home made Mac and cheese? If you’re looking for some true island food, this is a spot I highly recommend.
Me and my date tried the buffet, which was pretty average. The staff was very pleasant and we were the only patrons in the restaurant, which was about 4:30 on a Friday. My date said the green beans were way too salty as was the fried chicken. The two best things on the small buffet that we both agreed on was the jerk chicken and the Caribbean style shrimp. Other than that everything was very ordinary. Not bad, but definitely not great. For the $13 they charge we personally did not think it was worth it.
