M.Y. Chockdee Oriental Market & Restaurant

This was my first time going to M.Y. Chickadee. I bought poncit and pork belly and it was very good. I'll be returning to try other items.

Food is still good but the buffet is gone and the business is more concerned about charging you 50 cents for an additional plate than delivering value. The meat portions are too small and the plate is mostly filled with carbs. So don’t be fooled by the high ratings these are all leftovers from the buffet days.

I have eaten at this location a few times and I have not been disappointed. The hot food is sold by the plate. The restaurant is basically tables and chairs in a grocery store. The have a special plate for around 10 dollars. The plate is enough to feed two people. It comes with rice, glass noodles, steamed eggplant, bok choy all delicious. Then you can pick an entire. I had the steak and pepper. Which has jalapeno, peppers, brisket steak, and onions plus seasoning. Food is all fresh and tasty. If you are in the area I recommend stopping by shopping a little and grabbing a plate of food to go or sit down and eat.
