Muramoto Hilldale

Goods: Everyone was very friendly, and selection was decent, but not the best in town. No Uni. Surprisingly price wasn't that expensive. Nice atmosphere and great drink selection. Bads: Might be good enough if you haven't had good sushi before. The rice to fish ratio was ridiculous. I take my sushi very seriously and was super disappointed. Way too much rice on every rolls, which is opposite of a good sushi/roll. It's hard to taste the fish when it's overwhelming with rice. Super disappointed.

Muramoto Hillsdale is a pretty decent sushi restaurant with a variety of options and quality sashimi. There was a bit of an odd, rushed vibe, especially as we neared the end of our meal, but otherwise we had a great experience. The staff were kind and polite. We had several trays of sashimi, as well as the signature "Muramoto Rolls", the former of which were pretty good and the latter alright but not particularly memorable. The black toilets are the star of the show. ⭐

The rolls were very good and the sashimi was also good. Prices were relatively high in contrast to area options but that wouldn’t stop me from coming here again. The sushi chef certainly looked to be very proud of the plates he sent out which was great to see!
