Great historic Tavern/Restaurant. Excellent service and great food. I sat at the century old bar with the original bar back. The place is beautiful. I had a simple but tasty corned beef on rye. Genuine amounts of lean corned beef in the sandwich. I asked for loaded fries and they were delicious using thick steak fries. A definite place to go to if you love good food in a historic place.
Delicious Patty Melt, sat outside. Very fast service. The Metra comes and goes, it adds to the ambiance.
Great place to eat and relax. Ver nice spot and staff is very friendly.
