Came here last night for our 32nd anniversary. We will be coming back and bringing with us people we love! ♥️ 1) The Pimm’s cup was refreshing and pleasantly herbaceous 2) The boudin balls (think Cajun arancini) were a perfect starter with just enough kick 3) The wedge salad was sufficiently tangy, crisp, and definitely big enough for two 4) My husband had the double pork chop, which was more like a quadruple; great flavor, perfectly prepared. 5) Brussels sprouts were simple yet superb 6) I had the crawfish étouffée- excellent. Couldn’t finish it all but I did just now for breakfast and the crawdads were little flavor bombs- it was almost better-tasting than last night! To leave behind any of the broth/sauce would have been a crime, so I did my part. 7) Our server (Rachel) gave us complimentary mini boozy frozen hot chocolates; a perfect end to a really wonderful meal. Can’t wait to come back and try other menu selections. Thank you so much!
This place is a bit pricey, but everything that I had I enjoyed. A New Orleans inspired restaurant, with New Orleans inspired food that they have put their own spin on. The drinks were as good as the food. We had a good server, but it was extremely busy so it took quite awhile for us to get our food and drinks. I would highly recommend making a reservation. There are 2 parking ramps near the restaurant that have free parking. As I mentioned above it is pricey so come expecting to spend some money.
Have you ever fantasized about a cracker? I will, now that I've tried the ones from Mr. Paul's that comes with the popovers and relish. The lobster gnocchi was bathed in a creamy orange (always my favorite color for my food to be smothered in) sauce. Finished everything out with a passion fruit martini, fluffy beignets, and soaked in the wonderful decor. Even my kid ate all his mac and cheese which is a rarity. Kid-friendliness: They do have crayons and an informal kids menu but overall I would say this is more for the adults. Parking: Close to the parking garages.
