Mountain View Pub

The setting is spectacular and the service was great. The food was OK. Nothing to save about. My daughter and I got Half a bucket of shrimp and that was great. Shepherds Pie was ok. Reuben was ok. Fish and fries were good. Our server was knowledgeable about the whiskey which my husband and son are into and i thought the Bloody Mary I got was scrumptious. We had a good time.

I wish I could give zero stars. we can midday on a Tuesday!!!! the server saw us... I wish I had taken a picture of her so I could say if you see her working.. RUN! don't even bother... she saw us, told us to sit wherever and we'd be helped. waited at least 15 minutes. saw two tables get their food... though one never got the water they'd asked for.. another table behind us made a comment "there we go" when their beer was brought out....her comment was "I wanted to give the ... time to settle(i forgot what they had ordered)." this tells me that they ordered their drinks... then food...aaaaand.. never got their drinks. when my husband finally went to go find someone, this gal comes up and says "what, have you been waiting all of 3 minutes?" in an extremely nasty, rude tone as she plops down menus. I replied, "no.. more like 15 (I was being generous)" and her reply was "well what do you want? I've been all over there (pointing to the row beside us where we are clearly able to be seen)

Had problems with this place before with service and quality of food. Decided to give the MVP another chance tonight and they drop the ball again. Ordered 1lb of wings and get 8oz in the container. Another over rated over priced Cave Creek venue that needs to be avoided.
