Incredible interior design!! This place is SO CUTE! Love the style, the color, and the lightings! Food is good but the portions were smaller than I thought so ask when ordering! The drinks are nice. Definitely check this place out and get the gram pics!

Mother Tongue: One of the best restaurant meals I have enjoyed in LA. I have never been a big fan of Michael Mina restaurants but this ain’t yo daddy’s Michael Mina. They are doing something completely different- healthfulness. No, not hummus , poke, or processed soy fake meat or Sysco sourced veggies drowning in vegetable oil. This is carefully curated high quality ingredients prepared in a clever and thoughtful manner. It’s so easy to make food taste good with a little extra butter, cream, sugar, salt. This restaurant turns that upside down by using rich homemade umami driven meat and veggie stocks to infuse flavor . Whole sustainably raised animals and farmers market prroduce are used. Components of many dishes include miso, kombu, mushrooms, fruits, fresh ground spices and house infused oils. The dishes have complex and sophisticated flavor and most importantly are incredibly delicious without weighing you down. You just feel good eating this food. The restaurant itself is beautifu

We stopped here for a quick drink, but even that short experience was enough to win us over. This brand new space is extraordinarily trendy, and you'll find a well dressed, sophisticated crowd to match. The food is upscale and pricey but, judging by looks, seems delicious. Our drinks were unique and incredible. The service was really, really fantastic. The hostess was very gracious and I've never had such cool, fun, engaging, and polite bartenders (shout out Jarred and Keith). This is the kind of place you take someone you want to impress. Even on a Monday there was a fair crowd so be sure to make a reservation. This place is surely about to blow up in popularity. Loved it! Note: To get in, check out the alleyway between Sycamore and La Brea. You're looking for a nook with an elevator to the 4th floor.
