Appertizer i ordered was crab cakes and boy this was expensive but good. Real crab with lemon aoili sauce. Not the best picture i posted but i had a good experience. I went here for dinner and i ordered the ribeye with truffle butter sauce. My sides were truffle cauliflower mash and brussels sprouts. I ordered mid rare steak and its exactly what i received. The truffle butter sauce was lost. However, steak was cooked to perfection and the seasoning was on point. The truffle cauli mash was amazing! Pretty simple ingredients but packed with flavor. The parm cheese and truffle on top then broiling it gave it the texture it needs. The brussels sprouts lacked flavor and it didnt have any seasoning whatsoever. Overall experience was good. Host was present at the time anf sat us down immediately. Our server was polite and friendly. Always checked up on us. I gave this place a 4star because of the brussel sprouts and the price. I think some of the food were over priced but thats just me. I st
Food was top notch! Waiter was great. Host took what felt like forever to get us to our reserved table. The customized anniversary menus and comped dessert was very thoughtful though. Overall, great time and the food was amazing and filling we had to roll ourselves home after with our food babies. ????
I made a reservation for Valentine’s Day for 1 person. When I arrived, I was seated right away but was not approached by a waiter for at least 45 minutes. I sat there but it was as if I had become invisible. Waiters rushed past me, serving couple and groups that arrived after me, while I tried to get their attention. I contemplated leaving, but I had invested so much time already that I decided to wait. I was ignored by staff until the host came up and asked me if I had been approached yet. I told him no, I had been sitting there for 45 minutes, so then he finally let a waiter know and the waiter told me he thought I was waiting for someone, which is why he hadn’t approached. The food was good but the wait time was disappointing. TLDR; If you’re thinking of treating yourself to a solo meal on a special occasion, even with a reservation well ahead of time, steer clear of Morton’s unless you’re in the mood for being ignored.
