First time coming to Morton's and was satisfied with my meal. The appetizers were tenderloin blue cheese crostini and prosciutto wrap mozzarella. I had the prime rib medium well with asparagus and Au gratin potatoes. The ceasar dressing for the salad was really good. I'm not a fan of the croutons. But overall the place was good. I lived in Chicago for 20 years, so this was not my first time at a Morton's Steakhouse, but it was nice find one down here in Florida. The food and atmosphere was excellent as always. I had an 8oz filet mignon cooked medium-rare, a side of loaded mashed potatoes and giant grilled asparagus. My lady had the the fillet mixed grill (8oz filet mignon, two jumbo shrimp and two bacon wrapped scallops) which was also excellent. The scallops were amazing, perfectly cooked, not too tender and not too firm and had excellent flavor, especially with the bacon wrap. Our server, Edgar, was friendly and professional and provided a complimentary dessert of our choosing, which ended up being some sort of warm cinnamon pudding cake with pecans inside, a caramel drizzle and topped with vanilla Häagen-Dazs ice cream. That was absolutely delicious!
