Montien Thai Restaurant

Solid Thai restaurant near Chinatown. Came here for dinner with a friend and got the panang curry with duck and the thai milk tea. The milk tea was excellent and its slightly woody aftertaste was interesting. Curry was a bit sweet, but I liked the variety of veggies that came with it. There aren’t a lot of Thai food options in the area, so if you’re looking for a quick thai spice fix, I would recommend checking them out.

Thai food done good at Montien Thai Restaurent. We went here before a concert down the street and had a nice food a cocktail, and springroll and it was friendly service. I asked if they had phat kraphao with a fried egg which wasn't listen on the menu and they were happy to accomadate. Included a picture below. If you're downtown in Boston and need your Thai fix? The restaurant was pretty empty when we went. They were able to seat my group very easily. The regular menu seemed like American Asian takeout food but we discovered that they had a separate thai menu. I ordered the fried fish with sweet chili sauce and it was humongous. It was the whole fish and the sauce on it was very delicious. I definitely could have shared it with another person.
