Service and hot food were excellent! My only problem was the atmosphere. I went here during the early afternoon and the floor was filthy, covered with food and used napkins. But when we arrived, there were just a few other patrons in the restaurant. To the restaurant's testament, though: as we were getting ready to leave, a waiter did come around and started sweeping up the dirty floor. We still had a great time, though! And we will be coming back!
Monterrey is a Smyrna favorite. Known for the food presentation, portions, flavor and taste, Monterrey has gotten away from that standard lately. The atmosphere, seating and tables look tired and worn down. I hope they course correct because there are other options up and down S. Cobb Dr.
Everything is good. Great location, food,‘service and interior space. The only thing that hit me a little was that my sever didn’t seem to know much English. I’d tell her things then she’d appear to be writing them, then ask me the same over. Other than that I was a happy eater. … More
