Momo no Hana

This is a nice unassuming place to get some traditional Japanese food (i.e. donburi, yakisoba, udon, ramen, curry). I was really wanting a good katsudon as my favorite place to indulge in had closed a couple years ago. This place came up on a Google search and the reviews were promising. The place is small and not at all flashy. It had the hint of an unpleasant aroma but it stopped being noticeable a few minutes in (whether that's good or bad). Not many seats and we had to wait 30 minutes-ish to sit and order. We didn't mind since we planned a wait. The service was very nice but not very attentive. We didn't get a refill on water or soda the whole time. But the servers were few and they were keeping busy getting food out so we took no offense. We ordered vegetable tempura, takoyaki, katsudon and karrage don. Everything was delicious. Loved the takoyaki. This review is long overdue, I've been coming here since 2019 and I've always had an amazing time. The food is just as lovely as all the people there. The sushi has been fresh and the best fish I've had in arizona. I do get more than just sushi, everything I've had off the menu has been amazing and I am still trying new things. they always take care in providing food allergy information which is greatly appreciated:)
