What a lovely place with rich history, cozy vibes, and good food. The restaurant operates in a home built in 1880. The patio, and indoor dining areas have an old-time feel, but cozy. The food was good. Standard American breakfast menu items. However, nothing stood out. It was a good ol standard breakfast. This is a place to bring you close ones to socialize and have food at the table. I wouldn't come here solely for the food, but for the atmosphere and experience. There is a pet menu!! Fur babies are welcome. Kid-friendliness: Family oriented location. Kids are welcome, and there are menu items for kids. Parking: There are public parking locations only a block south of the location, and around the area. Wheelchair accessibility: Patio section is accessible
We had been wanting to try this place for a while now and I can’t believe we didn’t get this place sooner. We came around 1pm and it was busy but we got seated quickly inside. Also, there’s plenty of parking since it’s in downtown upland. We ordered a bottle of champagne for mimosas. We had the Texas Benedict with potatoes, everything had amazing flavor! I had the apple waffle special that comes with an apple sausage and an egg. The waffle was the perfect fluffy texture, and the apple and oatmeal topping was perfect! It was like an apple cobbler on a waffle; the perfect amount of sweetness. The service was really good. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend trying this place, you’ll love it!
Omelets for breakfast. The veggie one was very plain and kind of greasy. The steak on top of the Omelet was more like ground beef. This one had a bit more flavor, yet it was greasy too. The waitress was wonderful and attentive. Excellent service.
