I’ve always loved Mollies so I hate to leave such a terrible review however, we came in and were seated immediately. it took 25-30 minutes for anyone to greet us at the table and ask if we would like drinks. Mind you other people came in after us and had gotten drinks ordered and even their food. We were excited for good breakfast food it was all terrible. I don’t know what happened if there’s a new cook or what, it was disgusting. The meat was low quality, gravy was thick and pasty and cornmealish, uh the country fried steak tasted like old grease, and mind you was terribly fried, there really isn’t a better word other than terrible. We will not be going back. The meal was $72 for 4 people (without tip) not worth it at all.
Mollies is a Laguna Niguel treasure. Been coming here for years. The food is always prepared well and quickly. And is always quite tasty. Service in our last visit left little to be desired, but anyone can have an off day. I highly recommend Mollie's Country Kitchen for breakfast or lunch.
My family has been coming here since I was a kid. Warm memories of early Saturday mornings with 3 generations gathering around to enjoy some of the best breakfast we’ve ever had. After all of these years, we still continue to have family breakfast here. Staff has been consistent and some have known us since we first started dining here. I am so grateful for this establishment and highly recommend it. Thank you Mollie’s for all of the memories, full bellies, and amazing atmosphere.
