My wife took me to Mizumi for a birthday dinner on a Sunday evening. They have a dress code to enter the restaurant and are strict with it as I saw a few people be turned away for wearing casual shorts and bathing suit gear. We had reservations made for 530 when they opened up and were seated in the beautiful outside area by the waterfall and koi pond. At first look at the menu you see the prices are not cheap, but the food is top quality and the service was amazing. We ordered a few different sushi dishes (Seared Salmon, Seared Yellowtail, and Toro Scallion Roll), waygu dumplings, and a couple of other skewers. The seared sushi dishes only come with four pieces, but they were some of the best sushi that I have ever tasted. I highly recommend trying them. They have top quality Wagyu Beef, but we did not try it due to the $$$$. We ordered a Manhattan and a Margarita, which were infused with a Japanese twist. For dessert we tried a scoop of sorbet, which came with a few berries and
Amazing Japanese restaurant and great vibe, seats near the window looking towards the waterfall are worth stars just by themselves! Food was exquisite, we took some reccomendations for starters and they were absolutely amazing. The main toothfish was perfectly prepared. Wild Snapper sashimi is beautiful (see colorful photo) and delicious. Tuna and crispy rice was great as well - if you like crispy rice must try. The scallop roll was to die for (but don't plan to get full on them). Overall highly recommended, reserve in advance!
Great experience, we ate the menu. There is a giant waterfall through the dining room, the atmosphere is incredible, highly recommend!
