Miya Lounge & Restaurant

Me and my coworker ordered food from this restaurant based off of their instagram page and good ratings. What a big mistake, I got the grilled fish with plantain and my coworker got suya and jollof rice. The fish was dry and bland and the pepper was extremely watery. For my coworker’s order the suya was mediocre and the jollof rice was tasteless and looked like it was old and scraped from the bottom of the pot; there was even burnt pieces of rice mixed it in. Please do better, I’m not sure if they have a different cook or the other reviews are fake but it was a major disappointment and waste of money.

This is one the best African restaurants I have ever eaten at. We came into town from Cali and we’re so glad Holy Spirit led us here. The presentation was A+, the distinct taste of each meal was super, the creativity was unmatched, and the service was to come back for. We had the nkwobi, grilled Croaker fish with some heavenly spicy side sauce with a side of the Cameroonian fried rice and fried plantain.

Miya lounge is wonderful. The food is always fresh. Everything I've tried so far has been excellent!!! I recommend it. Inside the restaurant is decorated with beautiful art work all painted by the owner. My love to bring my family to eat!!!
