Mitmita Ethiopian restaurant

I came to this restaurant for the first time last week for dinner with my two friends. We ordered three entrees to split as well as the caramel cake for dessert. The food was amazing, my favorite was the chicken. It was super spicy, just the way I like it. The caramel cake slice was also delicious, I would compare it to tres leches. My favorite part of the restaurant was honestly the service. My two friends had never had Ethiopian food before and our server was very patient and explained the different dishes to us. A few of us also had a gluten intolerance so she was kind enough to let us try the gluten free injera. We were there talking and catching up way past close but never felt rushed or pressured to leave. The food was great and reasonably priced, the atmosphere was relaxed and the service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Food and service was 5 star!!! Best Ethiopian food I've ever eaten. Had the Veg. Combo. Great balance of spice, acidity, and savory. The hot tea with a little tea with a little bit of sugar helped compliment the meal in a way I can't even explain. Also had Veg. Sambusa app. which was out of this world! Totally recommend!!! If you like flavor and have never tried Ethiopian food you can't go wrong.

This place is absolutely amazing. Hands down the best Ethiopian restaurant in Tampa. Every time we are here the food is incredible and you can tell how much love is put into every dish, even my kids absolutely love it here. I highly recommend this place for anyone anyone wanting to have some amazing food. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian and gluten free options! Kid-friendliness: Very sweet with kids and kid friendly! Parking: Parking has never been a problem here
